ReportGenie ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by ReportGenie Pty Ltd (ABN 70 498 129 733), an Australian company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website at reportgenie.online and our inspection report generation service.

• Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
• Payment information: Billing details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
• Usage data: Number of reports generated, timestamps, and feature usage to manage your plan limits.
• Report content: Property addresses, inspection findings, and other details you enter to generate reports. This data is used solely to generate your report and is not stored on our servers after generation.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and maintain the ReportGenie service
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To enforce free plan limits and verify Pro plan access
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• To improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns

3. Data storage and security

Your account data is stored securely using Supabase, which operates data infrastructure in accordance with SOC 2 Type II standards. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Report content you enter is processed in real-time and is not retained on our servers after your report is generated.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — user authentication and account data storage
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• Anthropic — AI report generation (report content is processed but not stored by Anthropic)
• Vercel — website hosting

5. Your rights (Australian Privacy Act)

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
